pray for mercy

Psalm 123

v2

Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the hand of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes [wait] upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Looking to the Lord and waiting for Him makes me think praying. We should pray to the lord for mercy.

From: Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus

By Helen Lemmel, 1922
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
