Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.We should hate doing violent things, and we should hate the violence of blood. We shouldn't entertain ourselves by watching violent things, like blood, displayed.
v15
As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, [even] all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
The Lord would judge "mount Seir, and all Idumea" (the Edomites). The Lord would judge the Edomites because of what they did to Israel, because Israel was His people. The Lord was going to do to the Edomites, like they had done.
The Edomites rejoiced because of the bad things that happened to Israel. We shouldn't do bad things to the Lord's people and rejoice about it. If we do, we should fear the Lord and His judgment.
