Genesis 24 - Key

v55 & 56

And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us [a few] days, at the least ten; after that she shall go.
And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master.

The Lord had helped things go quickly up to this point, but they could have easily lost the time afterward. And often, things that get put off don't get done.

Application

I have a problem with wasting time. Sometimes the Lord answers prayer and helps me get things done quickly, like this servant. Then it's tempting to let things slide, and I loose the time afterward anyway. When I see that the Lord has prospered my way so far, I won't let things hinder me and make me slip back.
