And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
We should wake up. As the Lord's people, who hope to go to heaven and be like Him some day, we should live like His children today. Remember that, being the Lord's people, we need to be pursing righteousness and going away from sin.
v23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
