And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
This passage underscores the importance of treating little children well. That reminds me of a verse earlier in Matthew, about doing things to serve children.
Application Matthew 10:42
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
I'll take opportunities to serve little children, considering the verses in Matthew 18.
