But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
Joseph had a very hard time in his life, but the Lord gave him strength and great blessings. This verse is an encouraging promise, answering my prayers: sometimes it seems like we have many overwhelming burdens in our lives; but, as we trust in Him, and follow in righteousness, receiving the strength that He gives, the Lord will abundantly bless us with all of the strength that we need, and with every good gift.
