Here is the printable (PDF) file. Please feel free to download and distribute the file. You can print it out, fold it up, and then you can hand it out to people. It reminds people to pray for the victims of the tragedy at Von Maur, and shares how to be saved by believing in Jesus.
You did the best you could. You followed the rules. You worked hard in practice. You gave it your best swing. You made a good run, but it wasn't good enough to get you all the way home. Now, you're stuck on second. You need someone to get you on home.
In the game of life, Jesus has what it takes to get you on Home.
"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) Not one of us can gain God's best in our own strength.
He is on our side! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) The penalty for our sins is death. The Lord Jesus paid the penalty for you (and me) when He died on the cross. Those who accept His sacrifice and trust in Him are saved from eternal destruction, and receive the gift of a victorious, eternal life!
You must choose to accept Him. He wants to be your Captain. He has the will and the power to lead you to victory. "He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him." (Hebrews 7:25)
"Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)
What must I do to be saved? "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved..." (Acts 16:31)

God Himself took on a real human body, and came to the earth in flesh and blood. Even though He's God Himself, He also came as the only begotten Son of God, The Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus suffered the terrible death on the cross, to save us from our sins. He took our punishment instead of us, because He loves us.
Jesus overcame death when he raised himself back up to life! Now God offers us the free gift of eternal life through His Son Jesus.
The way to be saved is to believe on the Lord Jesus. One way you can make a public confession of your faith is to admit out loud that Jesus is The Lord. Speak to him and ask him to save you.
If you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.Romans 10:9

Dear heavenly father, these things are sin, and it's my fault, please forgive me. Please give me strength to admit them and not do them any more. In Jesus' name, Amen.I found the Lord Jesus to be so good and true. He has changed my heart. I want to invite you to believe that He's true, and to talk to Him to ask Him to save you. If you trust Him, it's not complicated to pray. You can even just say something like:
True God, please save my soul from Hell, in your Son the Lord Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
My friend Jesus hasn't ever let me down, and I know He'll hear you too.
