What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.I want the Lord to teach me, so I should fear the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.If we want to receive a blessing from the Lord, we should have a pure heart.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.I want to be filled with all joy and peace, and to abound in hope, but the way to be like that is "in believing". We should work on believing the Lord.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.If we feel bad because we're not sure what to do, we should be encouraged that the Lord promised that He leads us.
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?Praise the Lord that Jesus was forsaken for us.
