Psalm 26

v1

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.

Today, we should think about how we should be trusting in the Lord.

What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.

I want the Lord to teach me, so I should fear the Lord.

Application

When I take the bread and cup, I'll consider to make sure I'm right with the Lord.

have a pure heart

Psalm 24

v4

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

If we want to receive a blessing from the Lord, we should have a pure heart.

Believe the Lord

Romans 15

v13

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

I want to be filled with all joy and peace, and to abound in hope, but the way to be like that is "in believing". We should work on believing the Lord.

He leads me

Psalm 23

v3

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

If we feel bad because we're not sure what to do, we should be encouraged that the Lord promised that He leads us.

forsaken for us

Psalm 22

v1

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?

Praise the Lord that Jesus was forsaken for us.
