Who is my mother, or my brethren?(v33b)
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
When we read this, it might seem to be stating the obvious: follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
However, it is still important for us to keep listening to this message.
In the many small decisions that we make throughout each day, we are often faced with temptations to do what we know is wrong. We need to keep the words of this verse in our minds all the time. Let's remember that the Lord went to the length to remind us and warn us again, to follow that which is good.
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
It's a singular encouragement that the Lord chooses to specifically work in ways that we personally desire. Then, that's a good reminder (v7) that He is real, alive, and active, and we can have a personal relationship with Him.
Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
I'll remember the name of the Lord as the thing to look to for help. Other, worldly things that seem strong, fail (v8).

...but we will remember...(v7)
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set [him] in safety [from him that] puffeth at him.
When we're in trouble, oppressed and needy, we should call on the Lord in that time, because He will hear us.
I'll spend a longer daily time in prayer.
