Say Thanks

Isaiah 12:4

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
Polite people say "thank you" all the time. Have you ever said "thank you" to someone for holding the door opened for you? How about in closing an email, letter, or phone conversation? How about if you dropped your car keys, and I picked them up right now and handed them to you? Next time you say "thank you", stop and think.

When's the last time you told the Lord "Thank You"?
How about in public? If I handed you a nice hot cup of coffee, would you carefully wait until there was nobody around, and turn and whisper "thank you" to me?
Isn't it about time you started treating your redeemer with at least as much respect as you treat everybody else? You probably know the Bible says to pray always. Did you know it also says to give thanks always?

Ephesians 5:20

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
If you Love the Lord, I dare you to do these things in public all the time:

  1. Say "Praise the Lord!"
  2. Pray to Him.
  3. Tell people things He's done.
  4. Mention that His name is exalted.
  5. Sing to the Lord loudly!
