Job 20 Outline

Job 20

Zophar thought he was answering because of the understanding he had (v3,) but he wasn't. Don't think that and speak the wrong thing, like him.
These things might be true about a wicked hypocrite, but Job wasn't a wicked hypocrite. Also, the pleasures of sin are just for a season.
A wicked person might get a lot by cheating, but it won't be worth it in the end of the story. Zophar makes pictures of wickedness being like eating food.
Other people (v22) and other things (v27) will be against wicked people.

From: Down at the Cross

By Elisha Hoffman, 1878 and John Stockton
Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His Name!
