Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort [you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, [so] ye would abound more and more.
This was just an encouragement to me that I should be committed to diligently walk with the Lord more and more.
v2For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
We should keep working on the things that we have already received and know we should do.
