v3
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
It says that they were bound to thank God always...
We should thank the Lord for and pray for the brethren, all the time. It says they were bound
to do so.
Application
v11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Even though the Thessalonians were doing well right then, they still prayed for them all the time. And here's a good example in this verse, of how we can pray for each other.
I'll thank the Lord and pray all the time for my brethren, even when they're doing well right now. I'll thank the Lord for and pray for how well they're doing, for their faith and love, and for the Lord's will, calling, and work in their lives.
