And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
Abraham did all of what the Lord said, thoroughly, and he did it ...in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
We should follow that example, to obey the Lord immediately, when there's something we know He wants us to do.
Application
I'll apply this by not putting off my school assignments until the last minute.
