brought near

Ephesians 2

Key v12

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

It's encouraging to remember that when I wasn't near the Lord I was without hope, but now I have hope.

Christ Liveth in Me

By Daniel Whittle, 1891 and James McGranahan
Once far from God and dead in sin,
No light my heart could see;
But in God’s Word the light I found,
Now Christ liveth in me.

Christ liveth in me,
Christ liveth in me,
Oh! what a salvation this,
That Christ liveth in me.
