restraining speaking

Isaiah 36

v21

But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

This verse makes me think about restraint. Many times recently, I've been thinking about saying something, and then just gotten a bad feeling about it. I couldn't explain why I shouldn't say it, but I just didn't think I should. We should make sure we should say things before we say them, or we should restrain ourselves from speaking.
