- good behavior for husbands, and then for everyone, so the Lord will hear your prayers:
- husbands honor your wife
- everyone: compassion, love, pity, and courtesy
- returning blessing instead of evil for evil or railing for railing
- refraining your speech from evil and dishonesty
- seeking peace
- v13-17
- You have nothing to be afraid of, even when you suffer, as long as you're doing what's right.
Always be ready to give an answer (v15). - v18-22
