He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
The saints who will overcome "the beast," must have such patience and faith that they will not worship him, even though that means that they and their friends will be taken captive and killed for it.
Once again, like in the last chapter, that I read yesterday, I see how we need to not be selfish. We should have the patience and faith to do what is right, even when it seems, for the time being, to be to our own detriment. We ought to be those who are even willing to give our lives.
