Matthew 13:24-58 - Summary

Key
v44

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

I have been looking for a car to buy lately, and I think that, in some ways, the things are God can be compared to buying a car. Often, buying a particularly valuable car is worth sacrificing many other things that the buyer could have bought with that money, because having a car can enable the buyer to make even more money then he could without the car.

In the same way, the things of the Lord are so much more valuable than anything else, that it would be worth sacrificing everything else in our lives to invest in the Lord's kingdom. From having Christ, we will also find everything else we need, and more.
