speak evil of no man

Titus 3

v2

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, [but] gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

Is there is a difficult person in your life, who you are tempted to complain to people about, and to get into arguments with? We should speak evil of no man, and show meekness to all men. Be humble toward that person and don't argue with him. Sometimes it's hard to do that, but there's a way we can.

v3a
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived...
We should remember that we are no better than them. If we think they are foolish, we were foolish once too. If we have any wisdom, it is only because we have been given a gift of it from God.
