Hebrews 11 - Key

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Moses' faith determined his values. He would rather do what pleased God and suffer, than enjoy worldly pleasures and sin. He trusted the Lord to provide a better reward for him if he would follow the Lord. We should trust the Lord to reward us for making choices for Him.

When I have a hard time because of giving up sin and doing what the Lord wants, I'll remember His reward, like Moses did, and rejoice.
