Genesis 47 - Outline

Joseph's plan worked. Pharaoh accepted his family, and they got the best land, the land of Goshen, to take care of their livestock
Jacob met Pharaoh and blessed him
Joseph kept his promise to take care of his family
Joseph gave the people food for their livestock
Joseph gave them grain for their lands and themselves
"tax-exempt religious organizations"
Joseph instituted a 20% income tax because the government owned the people
Jacob was about to die, and he had Joseph swear to carry him out of Egypt and bury him with his ancestors
