Describing his troubles to the Lord
For the Lord's mercies' sake
The Lord's servant desired and purposed to remember and thank the Lord with his life
The description of the extent of his grief and seeking the Lord
His confidence that the Lord had heard and would answer
Warning for the enemies to leave and go back, while they still could, because the Lord was coming to deal with them
