an answer of peace

Genesis 41

v16

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, [It is] not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

The situation from Pharaoh's dream could have looked desperate and hopeless, but it did not have to stay that way. Just because something so bad was definitely going to happen, did not mean that there was no hope. The Lord can turn even the worst situations around for the good of His people who, like Joseph, wisely and discretely serve Him. When we have desperate and hopeless-looking situations, we should come to Jesus to receive an answer of peace.
