Father, forgive them

Luke 23

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Even Jesus forgave the people who fiercely mistreated Him. Who are we to not forgive others? Are we better than Him? Certainly not. We should forgive others, even when we're right and they're wrong, even when they mistreate us badly.

Also notice that it says, for they know not what they do. If we know the Lord and sin anyway, we're in much worse trouble.
