The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
This isn't just about whether you'll be wealthy or not. If you're lazy, you'll end up in servitude, paying tribute to the diligent. We really need to be diligent while we have the chance, because that's going to effect what kind of position we end up having in life.
Application
I could try to watch or listen to other things at the same time as reading or studying the Bible, but I'll be more diligent by putting them aside and just studying the Bible first.
