And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent [him] away empty.
The lord was looking for fruit, but they send the servant away empty. Our Lord is looking for fruit in our lives. We'd better not send Him away empty. Let's preach the gospel to people when we have a chance.
